RTU Powder: A Practical Choice for Electric Insulation Tubes
Recently, Nolifrit's R&D center successfully completed the sampling of enamel electric insulation tubes made from 316L stainless steel and 195 carbon steel. The Nolifrit RTU powder used in this process showcased numerous commendable advantages, providing a reliable solution for the production of electric insulation tubes.

The electric insulation tubes made from Nolifrit RTU powder exhibit outstanding performance characteristics. They are:
· High Temperature Resistance: Capable of withstanding elevated temperatures.
· Excellent Electrical Insulation: Suitable for use in enamel components requiring electrical insulation.
Additionally, the RTU powder ensures good adhesion and uniform coating. This is particularly important for challenging metal substrates like 316L stainless steel and 195 carbon steel, which typically struggle with adhesion. The coating exhibits consistent thickness throughout the entire surface of the tube, avoiding issues of localized thinning or thickening.

However, since electrical insulation tubes must pass a 5,000V voltage test, imposing high demands on the coating's thickness and quality. To meet this standard, the manufacturing process typically involves repeated firings—at least 4 to 5 cycles—to achieve a coating thickness of approximately 500 to 600 μm. Despite this rigorous requirement, Nolifrit RTU powder continues to perform excellently, allowing the product to maintain ideal results even after multiple firings, ensuring stable performance of the electric insulation tubes.
Conclusion
The successful sampling of enamel electric insulation tubes made from 316L stainless steel and 195 carbon steel further validates the practicality and reliability of Nolifrit RTU powder. While it may not be a "miraculous material" capable of revolutionary breakthroughs, it effectively addresses real-world challenges, enhancing production efficiency and product quality for enamel manufacturers.
