Performance Characteristics of Acid-Resistant Black direct-on RTU Enamel Powder

Acid-resistant black direct-on RTU enamel powder demonstrates exceptional adhesion properties. Through advanced formulation design and production processes, it forms a robust ceramic layer when bonded to steel plates, significantly enhancing its adhesion to metal substrates.

Based on specific data from industry-standard impact tests, when using a 1.5kg impact hammer to strike enameled steel plates with a thickness of 0.6–0.8mm from a height of 300mm, the enamel layer produced by our product remains fully adhered to the sample surface. It retains a glossy appearance and achieves the highest adhesion strength rating of Grade 1. In contrast, under identical test conditions, some comparable products on the market only achieve a Grade 3 adhesion strength, with 25% of enamel chips remaining at the impact point. This indicates that their enamel layer is more prone to flaking when subjected to impact.

For applications such as household enamelware or enamel ovens, enameled products frequently come into contact with various acidic media. Consequently, acid resistance has become a critical performance metric. Acid-resistant black primary enamel RTU powder exhibits outstanding acid resistance, maintaining stability in complex chemical environments and effectively protecting the steel substrate from corrosion.

Regarding acid resistance, test samples fired with black primary enamel RTU powder were immersed in a 10% citric acid solution at room temperature for 15 minutes. After rinsing with water and drying, the surface showed virtually no noticeable changes, retaining its luster and integrity. In contrast, some comparable products only achieve Grade B acid resistance under identical testing conditions, significantly shortening their service life.
