New 780–800°C Low-Firing RTU Enamel Powder Cuts Energy Costs
Against the trend of energy saving and cost reduction in the enamel industry, Nolifrit has launched 780–800°C low-firing RTU enamel powder, which is divided into two major series: ground coat RTU powder and cover coat RTU powder. It is suitable for cold-rolled steel enameling production lines, taking into account process flexibility, enamel surface quality, and energy consumption optimization.

The firing temperature range of this product is stably maintained at 780–800°C. Compared with traditional enamel materials fired at temperatures above 830°C, it can effectively reduce furnace energy consumption, reduce high-temperature wear of furnace rollers, refractory materials, and other components inside the furnace, extend the service life of the furnace, and help factories reduce production costs.
The ground coat RTU powder has two applications in one powder. It can be used for the one-coat enameling process or as a conventional ground coat. It has excellent adhesion to cold-rolled steel substrates and can effectively reduce defects such as enamel chipping and peeling.
Enamel manufacturers can flexibly switch production processes according to order requirements, with low investment in production-line modifications. When used together with the matching cover coat RTU powder, the enamel surface after firing is smooth and uniform, with stable gloss performance and a high yield of finished products with good appearance.
As a RTU powder product, the powder properties can be controlled before shipment. Customers only need to add water and prepare the enamel slurry on site before spraying, eliminating the need to establish their own ball-milling process and reducing labor, equipment, and maintenance costs.
It also avoids common on-site problems caused by ball milling, such as fluctuations in fineness and batch-to-batch instability, making process control simpler.
The product is compatible with existing wet-spray production lines for cold-rolled steel enameling, and trial production can be carried out with only minor adjustments to the firing parameters.
Nolifrit can provide one-stop technical support, including sample preparation and testing, enamel slurry preparation, firing process solutions, and on-site technical communication. Based on the customer's substrate and kiln conditions, we can customize the firing curve and quickly complete the transition from small-scale testing to mass production.
This low-firing RTU powder combines the advantages of flexible production, product quality, and energy saving. Without reducing enamel performance, it helps enamel manufacturers achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Enamel manufacturers are welcome to contact us for sample testing and to discuss practical solutions for implementing low-firing enameling processes.
